The Rankin Volunteer Fire Department received a generous $25,000 grant from Phillips 66 on February 15th to purchase new equipment, such as AED machines, nozzles, and hoses. Scott Hand, Integrity Engineer from Phillips 66, said the company chose the fire department for the grant because "our company motto is 'Safety, Honor and, Commitment.' Safety is a priority for us. We want to work hand-in-hand with those in the community who keep us safe."
